Growing Up Knowing, in partnership with schools, community organizations, and faith institutions, works throughout the state of Mississippi to facilitate open and honest dialogue about sexual health with middle school age youth and their parents or caregivers. Our elementary school curriculum teaches children about their bodies and gives them the knowledge and tools they need to stay safe. My Body, My Boundaries for Early Childhood Families gives parents the skills needed to start the conversation with their young children about physical boundaries and saying “NO” to abuse and bullying. Our programs effectively encourage communication across multiple generations because we believe that is how we make real change.
